Problem Statement

Takenaka India Private Limited needed to install glass railings across the center space of a multi-floor building. The challenge was to complete this installation without obstructing pathways, ensuring safe and efficient access to all floors while maintaining easy movement of workers and not affecting other ongoing work at the site.

Our Solution

Y Equipment Services provided a custom bridge-cum-façade with a dedicated passage. This setup allowed uninterrupted access across all floors and enabled multiple teams to work simultaneously, covering the entire area in a single phase. Additionally, a safe platform on the top floor facilitated seamless glass railing installation.

   Pain Points Resolved

  • Comprehensive Coverage: The bridge-cum-façade allowed the customer to cover the entire area at once, with multiple workers operating simultaneously.
  • Unobstructed Movement: The openings in the façade provided pathways for frequent movement of manpower without disrupting other work or blocking entrances and exits.
  • Safe and Efficient Top Floor Access: The top floor façade was covered with a complete platform, allowing the glass work on the roof to be completed in one go.

The client chose Y Equipment Services because the solution ensured the work could be completed safely, increased productivity, and saved costs without disrupting other ongoing work at the site. By implementing this solution, the client was able to complete the project within 2 months instead of 3 months, saving approximately ₹1,000 per day per person in manpower costs, totaling savings for 20 workers.
